Materials such as wires and rivets will make your industrial home complete. Wire baskets are perfect decorations for your cabinets. Copper, gold, silver, and platinum are the common metal materials you will see in an industrial home, whether it’s a decoration or a furniture piece.

Wood

If you’re into a neutral vibe for your house, invest more on wood materials. Usually in industrial homes, polished-wood pieces are used as floorings and ceilings, but it can also be a good furniture piece.

Some think that adding plants is not suited for industrial style, but they’re wrong. Plants add coziness in every home, including the industrial ones. Just put them in mechanical/industrial styled pots to blend-in perfectly. 3. Go for the Correct Colors for Industrial Designs

There are certain colors that really work with an industrial home. The walls, accents, furniture items, you name it, all of their colors need to blend well together in order to preserve that industrial look.

Placing big picture frames, wall arts, and a wall clock will complete the whole decoration for your home. For a wall clock to stay true to your theme, use a geared clock, or if you’re not into walled clocks, you can always invest on a grandfather clock. For pictures and art, mix them when placing it on the wall; frames should be in a rustic or metallic color to maintain your industrial theme. You can also use different sizes of frames for aesthetic purposes, but don’t add too many frames on the wall, so the place would still look spacious and cozy. 

6. Look for the Right Lights

When it comes to lightings for industrial homes, always go for vintage or modern. Typically, pendant lights and ceiling lights are used as lighting for every industrial home because of its base, may it be geometrical form or just an exposed pendant lamp. Usually, they come in rustic colors, most specifically dark gray and brown tones. It also gives a steam-punk vibe because of its mechanical components.
